Terms of Service & Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all residential and commercial cleaning services provided by Avbabs Cleaning Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or receiving services, you (“Customer”) acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT BOOK, OR RECEIVE SERVICES.

Acceptance and Eligibility

By booking our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You have the legal authority to grant access to the property.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • All information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You agree to comply with all Service Policies outlined herein.

Scope of Services

Avbabs Cleaning Service offers the following professional services:

  • Residential Cleaning
  • Commercial Cleaning
  • Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
  • Deep Cleaning
  • Specialty or Add-On Cleaning (as agreed)

Service frequency options include:

  • One-Time
  • Weekly
  • Bi-Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Custom Frequency

Service scope, pricing, and details will be outlined in service quotes or booking confirmation.

 Service Scope Limitations

Unless agreed in writing, services DO NOT include:

  • Cleaning requiring ladders over 2 steps
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances
  • Biohazard cleanup or hoarding remediation
  • Exterior windows above ground level
  • Pest infestation cleaning
  • Carpet or upholstery shampooing (unless booked)
  • Cleaning inside ovens or refrigerators (unless added on)

We may decline or stop service if conditions are unsafe, hazardous, excessively cluttered, or beyond the agreed service scope.

First-Time Client Requirement

All first-time clients are required to schedule a baseline deep cleaning to prepare the space for recurring maintenance.

Eco-Friendly & Health-Centered Commitment

All services follow our Eco-Friendly and Non-Toxic Standard, which includes:

  • Use of non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products
  • Child-safe and pet-safe formulations
  • Reduced chemical exposure.
  • Allergy-conscious cleaning methods
  • Sustainable, low-waste practices

If a specialty product is required for a specific task, permission will be obtained from the customer.

Payment Terms and Deposits

  • Standard rate is $55/hour, unless otherwise quoted.
  • A 50% deposit is required to book and confirm your appointment.
  • The remaining balance is charged 24 business hours before service.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • A 2.9% card processing fee applies for card payments.
  • ACH payments are available for commercial clients.
  • No personal checks accepted.

If property conditions differ from the original quote, pricing may be adjusted on service day.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

  • 24-hour notice required to cancel or reschedule
  • Less than 24 hours → 50% cancellation fees.
  • Lockouts or no access at arrival → full-service amount charged.
  • Delays beyond 15 minutes → $25 delay fees.
  • Delays over 30 minutes → appointment may be marked missed with a 50% rescheduling fee.

Avbabs Cleaning Service may reschedule due to severe weather, emergencies, or safety concerns.

Property Access & Entry Requirements

Customer agrees to provide:

  • Accurate entry instructions
  • Working keys, codes, or access permissions
  • Safe and unobstructed access to the premises

The Company is not responsible for locksmith charges if a customer changes locks or access codes without notice.

Client Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Declutter at least 75% of excessive items.
  • Secure fragile or sentimental items.
  • Notify us of special-care items or concerns.
  • Ensure safety and accessibility for service providers.
  • Provide honest disclosure of hazardous conditions.
  • Treat service providers respectfully and professionally.

Failure to properly prepare may result in additional fees.

Additional Charges

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Holiday appointments
  • Properties outside a 25-mile radius of ZIP 75228
  • Specialty cleaning products requested by customers.
  • Extra time required due to excessive clutter or unexpected conditions.

Damage & Liability Policy

Avbabs Cleaning Service is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage.
  • Unstable or improperly stored items.
  • Fragile items not disclosed in advance.

Accidental damage caused by our staff will be documented immediately.

Damage claims must be submitted within 24 hours, including photos and description.

Coverage is limited to:

  • Repair or replacement cost, OR
  • Fair market value

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied:

  • Contact us within 24 hours.
  • A complimentary touch-up or revisit may be scheduled.
  • Requests made after 24 hours are not eligible.

Pets

Customers must notify us if pets are on the property.

The Company may refuse service if:

  • Pets are aggressive.
  • Safety cannot be ensured.

The customer is liable for injuries caused by their pets.

Safety, Weather & Infestations

We may refuse or stop service if:

  • Unsafe conditions are present.
  • Severe weather prevents safe travel.
  • Pest infestations are observed.
  • Biohazards are present.

Privacy & Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

  • Customer information
  • Home access details
  • Observations inside the property

Marketing Consent

By receiving services, customer agrees that:

  • Before-and-after photos may be taken for quality control.
  • Photos will never show people, personal information, or identifying details.
  • You may opt out by notifying us in writing.

The company will not disable or interfere with security cameras.

Non-Solicitation of Staff

Customers agree not to directly hire or solicit Avbabs staff for private work outside the company for a period of 12 months after the last service date.

Insurance & Bonding

We maintain:

  • General liability insurance.
  • Bonding as required by law.

Proof of insurance is available upon request.

Termination of Services

We may immediately terminate services for:

  • Non-payment
  • Unsafe conditions
  • Policy violations
  • Staff harassment or disrespect
  • Fraudulent information

Customers may cancel recurring services with appropriate notice per the cancellation policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the past 3 months.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims arising from:

  • Hazardous conditions not disclosed.
  • Injury caused by pets.
  • Unsafe or obstructed environments.
  • Violation of these Terms.

Dispute Resolution

Before formal action, customers must attempt informal resolution with the Company for 30 days.

A small claims court is permitted for qualifying disputes.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
For recurring customers, changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

Continued use of our services indicates acceptance.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining sections remain valid.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any service quote, booking confirmation, and our Privacy Policy, form the complete agreement between Customer and Company.
